Our Policy
Meat Rabbits

All our rabbits are sold on a first come, first serve basis.

50% Non-Refundable Deposit to hold a rabbit until able to pick up or make transportation arrangements within a 2 week period. If not picked up within that time period the rabbit will be put back up for sale.

Baby rabbits can be picked up at the farm at 10 weeks old. Any other means of transportation, must be 12 weeks old.

When picking up a rabbit or rabbits, please bring a suitable animal carrier for transport. Be reminded mature males & females should be kept separate at all times during transport!

All rabbits are thoroughly checked over for health before leaving the farm. Optional de-wormer and nail clipping provided upon a sale of a rabbit.

All rabbits come with optional bag of food to get started.

Once you have completely paid for the rabbit and have taken it home/received it; the transaction is complete.

You have 2 days to return the rabbit if you are not happy with it for any given reason. You must pay for shipping in order to return it and receive the refund purchase price of the rabbit.

Any time after that, for what ever reason you cannot keep/care for the rabbit, you are more than welcome to send the rabbit back to the farm at your cost. I would rather see my rabbits come back to the farm than end up in a shelter! :)

We are not responsible for how you care for your rabbit once it has left the farm. It is your responsibility to do your own research to be prepared to raise a meat rabbit as a pet or breeder. We can offer advice based off our own experiences, and have supplied the information to get you started in the right direction!

Chicks & Hatching Eggs

Chicks & Hatching eggs are available only if & when our birds are producing. We hatch out of homemade incubators and broody hens when setting. This is our hobby, not a production line.

It is best to contact us with your interests and we are more than happy to put you on our contact lists when chicks or hatching eggs are available.

There are no health guarantees after chicks or hatching eggs have left the farm due to too many uncontrolled variables. Eggs are packaged with great care & chicks picked up at the farm are thriving when ready to leave.

If you find a problem with your purchased chicks you must contact the day of or the following day for a refund or replacement, upon returning the chick/chicks. The following days afterward are out of my control.

I can offer you advice on how to care for your birds to the best of my personal knowledge. I am not responsible for how you care for your birds once they have left our farm.

Hatching eggs can be shipped through Canada Post or other shipping outlets at buyers expense.

There are Photo Albums of each breed on our Facebook Page for your viewing and detailed information along with photos throughout our website.

Please be prepared in advance to bring home chicks! Have your feed, grit, feeders, bedding, heat lamps, etc. brooder set up & ready.

Chicks are very sensitive to temperature changes and can easily die if not transitioned appropriately.
Transportation

Buyer is responsible for all transportation costs.

I am willing to ship rabbits through the airlines and have successfully shipped with them in the past. Although rules and regulations are always changing within the airlines and it will depend what is available at the time.

The Cranbrook/Kimberly Airport is a half hour drive from our farm.

Also willing to find other options of transport, depending on distances, etc.

Small animal kennels work well for long distance trips. Boxes with straw/bedding and small holes cut throughout it for ventilation work well for shorter distances. Remember!! Bunnies love to chew!! A carrot can be provided to keep them busy for the ride ;)

I do not ship live chicks through postal or airlines but am open to finding other options for transport.

Chicks are transported with a provided box, bedding and heat packs depending on the distance of travel.

All other transportation options can be discussed in detail privately. contact me to discuss further.
Payment Options
- We accept cash upon pick up at the farm.
- Email Money Transfers and cheques are acceptable depending on circumstance.
