What is an Isabel Orpington? Another gorgeous color variation of the Orpington of course!   They are a connected to the Crele family with a pattern based on "Crele" but paler. The Isabel is established off a lavender barred pattern instead of the black-barred like the Crele. We carry both Isabel and Crele colors within our Orpington menagerie. In order to create this gorgeous color pattern of the Isabel one must add a lavender gene to a Crele gene.

Like the descriptions of our other Orpington birds they carry all the wonderful characteristics you could hope for in these chickens. They are calm quiet natured and lay a pale cream/brown with a slight pink hue egg.
