Why raise Guinea fowl!? Well why not!! haha! They are pretty noisy creatures, but for good reason! Their very loud vocals give away a predator every time they see/hear them. They're amazing bug eaters and flock protectors. They're also very social and fly rather well and are easy to 'coop train' as chicks which makes it easy to keep them in coop type conditions. They are a ground nesting bird and tend to breed with one male long term preferably.

We raised ours as chicks with our chicken chicks to make sure they all grew up together without problems. This has seemed to be the most successful way with raising them within a multi species setting.
